maybe I am the only one missing a small indicator (like a moving icon, something like the loading icons of some programs) if XBMC is still scanning / updating the database. Just to know that XBMC is still busy.

Only in browse mode, not while displaying a movie.

Bad idea?

maybe you are using a skin without that indicator but the two skins I tried (mediastream and pm3) do show a nice indicator when scanning...
