Is there a setting that turns off the keyboard? I've seen the one for the mouse, but my keyboard isn't working in a standalone install of xbmc.

The computer responds to it just fine if I go into bios, or I kill XBMC thru the remote, but I can't navigate or type while in XBMC.

Check your Keymap.xml file. Did you make any changes to it?

/usr/share/xbmc/system/Keymap.xml

Actually I added it and put support for the back button on my Harmony 880. No other changes though...
