IM trying to use my Macbook 2ghz dual core 1gb ram as a HTPC on my 52' Sharp lcd tv. So far I've gotten everything working fine only problem is im experiencing stuttering on video playback when I have my tv connected via mini dvi to hdmi. I looked around and it seems the problem might be that the macbook cant handle 1080p and dual monitors at the same time. So I should shut my macbook and just wake it up by using the macbook remote. Well I tried this but the mac just doesnt stay awake. It turns off about a few seconds after I wake it up. Am I supposed to change the power settings somewhere? Thanks

1gb ram is pretty limiting, I'd bump that to at least 2GB. 4GB is only about $70.

I think im going to upgrade my ram soon. I didnt have the laptop plugged into a power source so that's why it kept falling asleep. Everything works fine now that I plugged it in. Thanks
