hi yall. xbmc rocks !! the tv & movie scrapers are legendary !!

please help getting all my tracks into the music library
im having a hard time populating the music db...
i appears that libid3tag-i486-linux.so is killing xbmc
every time i try to update

System config
xbmc pre-9.04 r18324 (mar 7 2k9) from PPA
kubuntu 8.10 up-to-date as of now | i686 | kernel 2.6.27-11
AMD 1000mhz, 1gb ram,
source = 30gb NFS mount point = source path
dir structure = [source]/genre/artist/album/*.mp3

how to reproduce the issue > refresh music library
