Blu-ray working in XBMC for Windows with AnyDVD HD - What did I do right?!
#16
Have any of you been able to access menu features through XBMC? I've done the same thing as you guys, rip with AnyDVD HD then I'm able to play in XBMC. However It just starts right where the movie is, and skips all the menus. I've done the .iso method as well, and had XBMC launch PowerDVD and thats all dandy, however i find that to be very sloppy and would like to have access to all the menu stuff without going through PowerDVD.

Nevermind, I've found my answer here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?p=925984

I have AnyDVD HD running and this works great.
Such an excellent piece of software and as has been said by other posters "worth every penny"

I thought I was haulicinating when the BluRay started playing - I thought I had put in a DVD instead of a BluRay. Woot!

Sorry to open an old thread, but I have a major issue using AnyDVD and XBMC for bluray playback. AnyDVD starts up fine and decrypts the disc and the movie starts to play in XBMC no problem. Then, every single time there is a scene change or camera angle change in the film I get major video artifacts. They are like bright horizontal stripes that go across the screen for a split second then go away. It is unbelievably distracting basically making bluray unwatchable.

Update: This fixed my problem-
