Hi all,

I have the lastest SVN version from this forum. All works OK but when I insert a original DVD , XBMC don´t play it. If I add the DVD reader as a new source, it prompts to insert a DVD into the unit and nothing happens.
I remember that in previous versions, 8.10 I think, when I insert a DVD a new icon appears in the bottom of the screen in order to play it , but this don´t happen now.

What I´m doing wrong?

same on two diferent computers, both with Windows XP SP3 , and latest SVN version of XBMC with PM3.HD skin (TV_Movies mod)

I am not sure what your problem is but the gurus are going to need a full debug log and the exact rev you are using as I beleive there are many trunks on svn. Have you tried going back a version I am running the 8.10 release and dvd's work perfectly.

I myself have had the same problem with some of the pre atlantis releases but since atlantis i have not had any trouble playing dvd's. i now use jesters builds and they are very stable
at least they are on my PC running windows XP pro service pack 3

I include the full log in this post , (sorry but pastebin says that it is spam ¿?¿? ). It´s a Ikons complied version and , appart from this issue, all works perfect!! I know that With Atlantis it worked because I have upgraded a second PC with 8.10 and the same problem appears.

I've noticed that the HasMediaDVD condition doesn't seem to be working in the latest builds. Either that or it's not detecting the DVD to begin with.

Ok, I have installed Jester´s 18627 version and the Play Icon appears on the botton of the screen but it doesn´t works. But the worst part of this change of version is that it doesn´t recognise the Database and I can´t access to my Movie library. I return to ikons version because appart of DVDs all works Ok for me.

I have posted my log in the previous post. I have not used pastebin as I say before because it says that the content is Spam and does not allow me to upload the content of the log.

Wiso says that he fixed the problem in version 18991 but I have upgraded to 19052 and the DVDs don´t play.

Sorry If I´m doing it wrong but I think I explained it step-by-step along the post.
