I've mostly successfully installed the 9.04 beta on Fedora 10 (nvida) from the RPMs of http://www.fedorajunkies.com/index.php/XBMC and everything seems to be working, except for the static text in the skin.

With the language set to English, the screen looks thus:



When it's set to French, all the text is in place, and somewhat comprehendable, but I'd really rather have it in English.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

english langugage file is missing or corrupted.

if not, then provide a Debug Log..

I got it. My English/strings.xml was only 5 lines long. I copied the one from my xbox and it works well, now.
