hi ebbo and all.

I'm also experiencing the same issue I cannot get apt to work. It states "failed" ater entering my password. I'm looking through the logs and it appears that it has something to do with python versions?

07:19:17 T:2942090128 M:1947045888 DEBUG: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/apt/__init__.py:2: RuntimeWarning: Python C API version mismatch for module apt_pkg: This Python has API version 1012, module apt_pkg has version 1013.

Re the script installed, having the same issues.

For the specific purpose of trying out XBMC under Linux, my HTPC has two partitions set up, one for Ubuntu, the other for Windows.

Does this option allow somehow to "overwrite" the Ubuntu installation with this XBMCbuntu? So I could just need to setup GRUB for Win or XBMC default boot, according to the performance I need?
