Ok I dowloaded XBMC 9.04, great, now I want to customize it to aeon. I downloade aeon 091 stark, great, now this is where I'm lost how do I install aeon to xbmc? When I unzip the file it just opens a aeon folder including other folders: 720p folder, media folder, fonts folder, sound folder, language folder and a skin xml document. What do I do nextHuh Thanks in advance.

Take that aeon folder and place it in your xbmc skin folder.
Computer/c:/program files/xbmc/skin

Then launch xbmc and go to settings/appearance/look and feel and the first option will be skin, just change it to aeon

And if you happen to be on linux (which I believe you are with that Ubuntu version number) that would be: ~/.xbmc/skin

You'll also need to use a newer build of XBMC.

Ok I can see the option in xbmc to change the skin to aeon 091 stark but it won't let me. It says:
Incompatible skin need version 2.10 or higherHuh I thought that was the latest version?Oo

Nevermind I got it, I had two folders instead of just adding aeon folder to skin. Thanks everyone. XBMC Rocks!

well, when you are on home menu, you know how to go in settings ?

then there, just go on customisation.

you'll find background setting, just go on right you'll be on a "mini" home menu, where you can choose différents background for each item on home menu, when you're on the item you want to change backdrop, press enter, there you have to choose :
up: single backround
down: multiple background (select the folder where images you want are)

you should be good with that.

how, yes, but when i pressed down, i got all pictures verry fast.
imagine i did it for movies.
when i selected movies, i could see all the 100 pick i have in movies_backs folder. Like, 0,5 secounds each image.
What i wanted is something like.

you select movies on menu and you could see pic10.bmp only, when you selected menu movies again, you would see other ramdom picture.

don't know why, but waht happen now, is "running" all pictures verry fast.

any idea?

So you downloaded it from svn and compiled from source?
This is the only way it would be the latest version.
