I've got my reciever hooked up via HDMI (audio & video) however when I play back WMV files with 5.1 audio I only get a couple of the channels. I don't know what ones for sure but it sounds like background stuff.
I'm fairly sure the source is encoded properly as it plays back fine in WiMP.
If it helps the source that exhibit this are Dexter.S02E02.2007.Blueray.VC1.720P.5.1WMV-NOVO.wmv. S02E01 does it too but I've deleted it after watching.
