Hi all,

I've got very bad experience setuping my Infrared Remote control for XBMC. The biggest problem is related to the information that are every where. May it be possible to consolidate everything into the Wiki ?!

To any one that setup it's remote control sucessfully, may you fill up a wiki page with the approppriate information ? If We can have a centralized place with all the information it will make the experience better and easier for the new user.

Problem with it is that most info isn't strictly xbmc material. For instance my solution to getting the mce remote to work involves remapping the buttons to 'keypresses'. Which is alltogether a windows thing. Also - for most used remotes there are howto's in the howto-part of this forum. And that shows there are as many solutions as there are types and subtypes of remotes.

But what stops you from adding the material to the wiki yourself? I'd certainly not mind. Might be great to see a more generalised how-to about all regular remotes.
