Hey,

Im planning to get an Acer Aspire Revo R3600 to replace my modded Xbox for XBMC use.

Is there any advantage to installing Ubuntu + XBMC compared to just installing the live cd if all I want to do is use XBMC? After reading the forum i realized you can upgrade a live cd install anyway which I didn't think was possible.

Any opinions are welcome, thanks.

i will boot a lot quicker if you don't install full ubuntu. and also it is waste if you only need xbmc.
