I've been a XBMC fan for years. All my TVs have a modded xbox. I thought it was time to upgrade. I just wanted to thank everyone for this awesome forum, it was so helpful in the upgrade.

This guide was also very useful.

I now have my ASROCK all set up and I'm loving it.

I’m using “xbmc-9.11-live-repack”, not sure if that’s RC1 or not

No I’m using the original Xbox DVD IR dongle connected with a “Xbox to USB adapter”.

I also had to do the following:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Lirc_Config_...DVD_Remote
(I edited the files using winSCP with root access)

I can’t get the Xbox remote to wake up the ASRock from suspend but besides that, it works great. It’s the perfect remote for wife/kids and basic function.

That's strange.

I just tried booting from the Live-CD.

I c&p everything frome the wiki, blacklisted xpad and restarted lir; without any success. :/

Is there a way to check the Dongle? Maybe it's defect or something...?
