ohai.
I'm looking at purchasing a NAS to stream content to my Asrock ION 330 via gigabit ethernet.
Would the ReadyNAS duo provide stutter free 1080p playback?
If not whats a good NAS for 1080p streaming at a reasonable price?

Yes can provide more than enough bandwidth.

So long as you have a 1GHz connection to the NAS I would have thought almost any NAS could supply data fast enough to run 1080p.

My setup:
Acer Revo 3610
XBMC on Ubuntu 9.10
ReadyNAS Duo 2150 - need to be careful about which hard disks you use in it but that's another topic

You should be fine with any NAS and any 5400 rpm drives to do 1080p, especially since you're connected with ethernet. I use a DNS-323 (about $150, 2 disk) with WD or Hitachi 5400rpm hard drives without issue.
