wyrm - it seems to work for resolutions other than 720p providing that you are using the new post addon structure for skins and if you have the default resolution line amongst the other items in the addon.xml sort of like this

Yep, Hmmm. I used a addon.xml file that was pretty close to the one you posted. I'm using customXX.xml files for my skin settings menus (it was the way it was done for xTV originally) and I can't access any of them.

Does anyone know if I can move across to 720p a bit at a time (move the customXX.xml files first) and then convert all of the other skin files over as I get time?

You need Home.xml in 720p to get the custom ones to show up. If you give me access to your skin via something other than mediafire/megaupload then I'm happy to take a quick look when I have a minute or two to see if something obvious is out of whack.

Later on I'm hoping to just kill off anything other than 720p and/or 1080p - they just don't make sense anymore.

Yep, I had pretty much come to that conclusion myself, but would like to release something soon and then work on moving skin to 720p.

the release I am currently working on has not changed the customXX.xml handling at all and also displays the problem listed in this thread. Newer release (the upcoming one) is mainly bug fixes and work on views. If you think you need to see that, please let me know and I will organise some way to get it to you. Thanks again.

just tried official nightly 31463 and it works a treat. Just have to add addons support and I'm good to go. Thanks yet again.
