DVD ISO playback ussues
#1
Hi,

Im using XBMC on debian sid (unstable) with only x-server.
I use the packages from debian-multimedia.org. The version is 9.11-06

Now the bizarre thing is that some DVD iso's play without any problems, but other iso's start 'in the background' behind the menu (i think, at least i do hear sound). However I am not able to view them.

When i try the same iso on my windows machine it works flawlessly.

Any clues?

When I compare the ISO's with imgBurn, it appears to have to do with the 'implementation identifier' of the iso... 'mkisofs' works, 'ImgBurn' does not...

After compiling and installing the latest trunk version 'manually' everything works fine. Apparently the debian-multimedia package is too old to support all ISO formats.
