Can't play any DVD movies
#16
Installed Dharma beta1 last night form SVN repo and I can confirm that I can play DVD using one of the drives I tried before. I haven't tried playing audio CDs yet but I think it should be okay. Also, there is no need for installing ubuntu-restricted-extras at all.The system seems to even much lighter now. Report back soon with result. Cheers!!

One thing I did notice with r33324, If you're using more than one optical drive the DVD needs to be in the drive that's set as Master, to use the play button. For some reason xbmc doesn't like the slave.

A quick check:
Hit the eject from within xbmc and see which drive pops open.
