Fade in from dimmed screensaver
#1
using the dim feature as a screensaver is a nice option because when it does dim it does it by fading out. but, when you press a button to bring it out, the screen goes back to normal in an instant. it would be nice if it would fade in instead of being instant. i hope that makes some kinda of sense.

makes sense but screensavers are there for a purpose, not to be cool...

which would be a valid point, was it not for the fact that someone has gone to great lengths to code a 'cool' matrix-style screensaver as well as a fade-out. if the screensaver function was solely for the purpose of preventing screen burn, why not just switch to black after 'x' minutes?
