ok... i am interested in getting a remote control for my xbox so i dont ahve to deal w/ controller anymore...

i need the dvd dongle? what is the best solution?

check out the remote in my signature. i love it. its got pvr buttons, and honestly, its the most efficient and best layed out remote i've ever used. i love it. and its cheap. like 17 bucks, but check ebay, i just got another one for the bedroom for .99, no lie. lol

does it work with your xbox + xbmc if you get the dongle

i have been looking at the harmony remotes.. but this might be a cheaper solution

yes. one 4 all remotes are one of the most programmable remotes on the market. sure, they don't have any fancy lcd displays or anything, but if you are willing to do a little bit of work to program them, there are very few remotes that would function better.

if you don't want to muck around too much, they'll work just as well with xbmc using the rca dvd codes that they come with.
