[The Chef]

Running XBMC Live which is connected via USB to an external mybook hard drive. And for whatever reason I can't add it as a media source. I can view it and watch videos from it but am unable to add it as a source. I've looked around quite a bit for a solution but not much luck.

Any ideas? Thanks guys.

When it is a External drive you cannot add it as a source. All you have to do is to go to the individual folders where you have your movies, TV-Show´or music. and Right Click and choose what type of content it is. Then the folder itself becomes the source
