would be great if somebody could have a look at this python "grabber script" and check if it is compaible with xbmc.

if so - the xbmc could feature a stand-alone (no pc required - current solution requires a grabber written in pearl) tv program guide!!!

python libraries and grabber-code already exists. don't know if any xbmc porting is needed or not...
