Best XBMC machine on a budget
#1
First, sorry for all the posts changing my mind. What is the best way to end up with a machine that works well with XBMC? I only have about $307 to spend. I can't buy anything off ebay used. I need to have it connect to wifi and stream movies from another pc on the network. Running hulu would be a bonus I have a 2.5 inch hard drive and two 512mb ram modules from an old dell vostro 1000 I had. I also have the wifi PCIe mini card from it but I don't know how hard that would be to set up. I'm willing to do some work on a setup but I am having trouble figuring out what I could use for a setup like this.

sounds like a foxconn barebone netbox nt330i

granted, it's only silent if you leave the case open but else than that, perfect
OpenElec Standalone --> Asus Chromebox 'Panther' --> Onkyo TX-NR709 --> Sony 55" X85C Android TV (also with Kodi!)
Asus Chromebox EZ Script
Kodi on Sony Bravia Android TVs

Absolute cheapest option will be a Micro ATX build for a while to come.
