XMBC on Windows - shrinks to quarter size after HDMI disconnect
#1
Hi Everyone,

I use XBMC 9.14 on Windows 7 in my home theatre. When I switch from my Cable Box to XBMC, the windowsize of XBMC is shrunk to 25% of the screen.

I use a receiver to manage all my sources, and I think there is an HDMI disconnect when I switch sources, so it's likely a driver/windows related issue, when the HDMI connection comes back.

I have to quit and relaunch XBMC to get it to work again in fullscreen - its really annoying!

Is there anyway to "force" XBMC to stay in full screen resolution ( hard code 1920x1080 for example) , or any other workaround?

You can probably work around this by pressing the \ key twice.

I figured it out. I selected "use true fullscreen mode instead of fullscreen inside a window" in video options and problem is gone!
