Hi guys,
I'm in the process of finishing up a new system. My goal was to have dual display with XBMC on the secondary HDMI display. That works well, except when my receiver (Pioneer VSX-9040THX, if it helps) changes input. What seems to happen is that Windows loses the secondary display for a little while which makes XBMC migrate to the first display.
I suspect that the Pioneer resends the EDID information. So my question is : is there a way to force Windows to ignore them? The card is an onboard Intel. I know in Linux I could easily accomplish that with an option in the xorg.conf file.
Thanks,
Georges.
