Foxcon 330 - wake up issues
#1
Hi

i am using RC1 atm but i notice RC2 has no major updates so i guess my question it still valid to a degree.

we use a usb 4gb stick on the foxconn with no hdd internal.
we installed xbmc live ok. setup ok apart from it was missing the network card.
added the following to the interfaces file and made it pickup a dhcp addy.

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

all ok with networking after this.
the unit will suspend ok but will not wake up on resume.
we have tried the acpi mod's for usb0 etc but to no luck. i looked on a few threads that said it maybe a fault of the linux o/s not supporting resume. can i do anything to test for why it's not waking up?

we resume it by pressing the power button, this works ok (but is a pain getting off the sofa hehe)
after a resume the sounds are gone and we have to restart xbmc (just xbmc not the the whole O/S) to get them back
(i have modified the .asoundrc with the following as per wiki)

pcm.!default {
type plug
slave {
pcm "hdmi"
}
}

if anyone can help with my resume issues and sound issue i would be most happy

thanks

p.s. excuse my poor english and spelling
