nfo files
#1
I wish to eliminate scraping and just have the artwork an an appropriate nfo file in the root folder of a movie.

Is there any place I can find what xml entries are permitted/expected in a movie nfo file. I have read all (I think) the material on the subject but have only seen examples.

Is it skin Dependent?

If someone could point me to the proper place that would help a lot. I would like to be able to drive the library update strictly by what is in the movie folder in the way of art work and the nfo file.

TIA

i think you should just use a 3rd party application

that can create the NFO the easy way for you...

the one i like to use is called --> XBNE

just use that to create your NFOs without scraping for infos....

Barry, The material there is, is here (apart from weeding through the code):

Exporting an entry you feel good with should give you the best xml there is.

Just make sure you have turned "Download actor thumbnails..." off in video library setting if you want to be absolutely sure there is no internet accessing.
