I've been trying to no avail to increase the size of the subtitles on some 1080p mkv files I have with embedded .ass subtitles without extracting all of the .ass files and increasing the font size manually on all videos
The .ass file in the mkv is set to use Arial font size 55
Changing the options in Settings - Video - Subtitles seems to do nothing
playing the video on Windows 7 x64 in xmbc on a 1920x1200 display the subtitles are of a decent size and perfectly readable
On my ION eeepc which I'm using on my main TV running at 1920x1080 the subtitles are absolutely tiny!
Some other files with embedded fonts and .ass seem to work fine.
If I use MPC-HC on Windows then I can edit the live running font/size/colour but nothing on xbmc I can find lets me do it
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
