Sorry for resurrecting once again.. it seems that this feature does not get much attention and is probably not too needed by most users.. however.. I can see this works fine by selecting the context menu, but it would be really nice to have this option included in the audio output settings as a "permanent" option. In my case I need some kind of player (running on rpi) which starts a playback after being powered on (in "party mode") to an upnp-av media renderer (which is always on). Kodi would otherwise be a perfect solution..
So I needed to ask: Is there any option to achieve this at the moment (with a help of some plugin possibly) or there's no chance? Thanks for any advice.
