I have two movies with resolutions of 1800x1080 and 1808x1080 that choke on my Atom/Ion nettop. Those resolutions aren’t supported by VDPAU on the Ion, I get that. But I’m confused as to why the GT210 handles the files no problem.

I just thought that the Ion could decode anything the GT210 could. Is that wrong?

My nettop runs Dharma on Karmic, while my GT210 PC runs Dharma on Lucid, both using the 270.18 driver, if that matters any.

It's a hardware bug in ion, the GT210 doesn't have that bug.
