Lock Settings from NAS drive
#1
I have a USB hard drive hooked up to my apple time capsule. And using XBMC i have it set as a network drive using the IP address 192.168.0.2 (the time capsule address) and can see the internal hard drive and the usb drive, I can go in and mount my folders in this case "movies" & "tv shows"

It does its scrape and it works fine.

But if i come out of XBMC and come back in and try and access the shares it brings up a Lock Settings panel and asks for time capsule user name and password (which was inserted at the point of adding the SMB and still shows under the edit source section)

When I put the password in it just refreshes the panel and asks for the password again. The only way to fix it is to remove the network drive (smb://192.168.0.2) readd it and then re add the folders inside of which!

This is really frustrating! does anybody have a solution?

This is a fresh install of 4.2.1 jailbroke with seas0npass.

Could jb with greenpois0n resolve this?

Could someone please offer some advice on this?

Try enabling Guest access in Airport Utility, I have found secured SMB shares to be annoying.
