Hi it first time with xbmc and im trying to change the skin followed you tube dowloaded aeon and the text unziped and went to put it in the skin folder but there was no folder?? sorry if im being really stupid but its driving me mad please help

this was before dharma.
now skins are addons and i'm pretty sure the skin you've downloaded is for old xbmc build.
check in skin subforum, there's couple of aeon branche skins there, you'll get how to download / install them .

oh that could have saved half my day today Whoops! i am still a little stuck now i have downloaded AEON Showmix 2.7 but i cant work out where to put it to open it in xbmc dosent i think this is the hardest thing ever and has blown my mind! noob!

Is there anywhere I can get a breakdown of of to do this in the simplest way? Anyone?
