No, problem persist
Here my log: https://pastebin.com/nb57i3bq
Maybe you can find something interesting there, but it's a fresh kodi installation
Something its weird to me is the URL's stream pointing to https://secure-streams.akamaized.net

You need to post a FULL debug log, not partial. Please turn on debug logging as well.
There's nothing odd about that URL.

Also, please state what the problem is that you are having.

Problem: after some seconds, it gets choppy and lost audio and then it plays all time choppy and without audio. Then I stop it, hit play again and same behavior.

Put the log on one of the pastebin.com sites, not riseup.

I can make a new one.
Is there any possibility to change the stream quality? (I remember in previous version it was possible)
Also, is possible to change CDN ?

1) probably not necessary, the stream keeps timing out, pretty good indication that there's a speed issue.
2) Use the global internet bandwidth limitation setting in Kodi.
3) No.

I did some research for (2) and only found some references to "Ares Wizard".
Is there other way to find "global bandwidth limitation" setting?

In Kodi:
Settings->System->Internet Access
Turn on Internet Connection Bandwidth Limitation and set the appropriate speed for your connection.

Just noticed certain shows on RT no longer play through the addon, and they seem to be youtube streams, for example none of the #ICYMI form Polly Boiko will play within the addon, and now some newer Max Keiser shows no longer play. There are a few others but the majority of shows play just fine, and the live stream is also good.
Is there a tweak for this? i.e some setting in the player/InputStream. Played around a little but no change. I can always flip to the Youtube addon for the Youtube streams but would it be possible to integrate this new feature so that viewing RT streams would remain seamless from within the addon? Or have I missed something obvious in the config?
Thanks

Yeah that's a pain. Some of the shows are migrating to youtube, most short clips.
I'm going to wait a bit and see if everything migrates and if so, there's really no reason to maintain this add-on as it will simple be a channel in the YT add-on.

I hear ya. why work for nothing reinventing the wheel unless you have a better wheel, or moustrap?
So then I guess it would be too much of a job to process and call the Youtube player engine when appropriate ? I like and find useful the webpage aggregation of available content that comes with the addon. This feature would be sorely missed.
So I hope if that day of full migration comes that a nice aggregation of streams appears in the YouTube addon, either in a list or with panels. I never login to youtube so I don't know what the full youtube experience offers. I do know that a search from within the youtube addon produces a lot of noise and distractions form the search keyword(s).
I don't see the RTNews offered as a live stream anywhere, only the British House of Commons Question Period, but I haven't given up on looking either. But that's a minor detail and can be easily served through a web browser.
I'll be the biggest annoyance is the other non english News streams flip back and forth between HLS and YouTube. I consume the French and Spanish streams often but do so now with a browser.
Thanks again for this truly useful addon
