It looks like issue tracking isn't in Github ... is there any way someone can "officially" track the status and priority of Airplay *VIDEO* support in Kodi 16?

With the latest nightly build airplay from ios9 and Yosemite is indeed working

In the past, it (always?) broke... but I like to know, if someone actually tried with OSMC and iOS 9 Public Beta.

for the ubuntu/kodibuntu users: I updated libshairplay in the nightly and unstable PPAs. Please check if your issue is fixed.

for the ubuntu/kodibuntu users: I updated libshairplay in the nightly and unstable PPAs. Please check if your issue is fixed.

Works with IOS8, but not 9.

Did you set it up properly? Ie. you need to turn ON airplay but then DISABLE video/photo support (same settings screen, a few options below where you turn it on)

Sorry, I missed that. I did as you said and it works for Audio only in IOS9. Bummer that video was broke with IOS9!

Are any of you successful with RPI2, latetst Openelec and a Hifiberry?

Works with IOS8, but not 9.

how is this related to ubuntu?

I was just wondering why Kodi airplay works perfectly with iTunes 12 on my macbook (with the latest El Captain 10.11.2), even though I cannot see in Audio Settings my Kodi airplay device (Raspberry Pi 2 with OpenElec installed) as audio output option?

Is there anyone can figure it out? Maybe that would help?

P.S. I confirm that the latest iOS 9.2 still doesn't work with Kodi airplay. Neither other applications on OS X works.

Sorry, I missed that. I did as you said and it works for Audio only in IOS9. Bummer that video was broke with IOS9!

Note you have to choose the expert level, other wise this setting is not visible

Hi, does AirPlay even don't work on Atv4? I tried it with my iphone 6s (ios 9.2) and with ipad (ios 8.3) but only sound can be streamed with Kodi.
But youtube can normaly streamed with video and sound without any problems.
I tried it with kodi 15.2 and 16. do i have to change any config?

Mirroring Kodi is a different topic than what is being discussed here. See iOS FAQ (wiki) for info on mirroring Kodi to an actual Apple TV.

Any chance to get the IOS9 AirPlay fix to work on Openelec 6.0/Cubox pro, or do i have to wait until the fix makes its way into the official OpenElec packages?
