I just found a fix for the Xbox bug stopper

You can use my kodixbox 23.0.15.0 msix UWP x64 here:

Just forget the mentioned 23.x of the file (i use this version 23 to be sure i don't overwrite my other Kodi tests deployed on my Xbox).
My 23.0.15.0 is the 19.1 matrix version with master branch code.

Just wanted to ask is there still a need for testing on Xbox Series X?

I wanted to ask before paying to get the developer account to sideload the app.

Not really. I've got a Series S for testing purposes now.

I think the plan will be a release for v19.2.

It's sad that a critical bug took such a low priority to be solved. I hope that version 19.2 will fix this mess.

It's not that it's low priority but a lack of Windows devs.

can you check the TVHeadend client? it craches the xbox SX completely by just powering off after 3 seconds Video.

Will HDR work on series S on Kodi with the upcoming 19.2 release?

Unfortunately we haven't found a way to get it working on the Xbox.

It’s strange but I compared the quality of a few files I played on Apple TV and x box one s side by side and they looked identical in quality… yes the HDR flag was not coming on, I acknowledge that but maybe it’s my eyes that don’t perceive the difference or perhaps my tv which was upscaling it pretty well.. not sure.

Just to see if I got it straight.
