That is interesting i was just going off of the MS uwp program website approval program.

Remember these are Microsoft times.

Just think how long a file transfer under Windows takes in reality, compared to the time that initially appears in the pop-up window

Hey i'm just glad we are moving on to matrix. It takes as long as it takes.

Does audio passthrough work on the Series X? I have mine connected to my Samsung Q950A soundbar.

You don't even get any options under "Audio Passthrough" in the Kodi settings.
I guess I'll have to stick my RPi4 running LibreELEC. Almost all my media is in Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or DTS HD-MA.

When the port to Xbox was done, only MS apps were allow to do audio passthrough, plus certain 3rd parties e.g. Netflix that reached agreement with MS to use the private methods. There's been news that Xbox will now allow any app to do passthrough, but no one has been able to point to any documentation on how this is done. So yes there's still no passthrough avaiable meaning only PCM output is available.

The Kodi Matrix version is coming officially for Xbox.

So happy to be able to have it soon from the store.
Will be able to Play Xbox Games and use Kodi without having to swith into dev mode.
Finally in 4k without crashes

Firestick has same issue I think, is there there kodi 19 file I can sideload on there 2? That works great on xbox one BTW I tried to break it crap advanced settings and run in app mode was only way! The 4k and settings options way better than Netflix 4k was giving me aswell

Hi,

The Kodi Xbox fix which fixe 4k crashes is Xbox specific.
Firestick cannot use this fixe.
The changed part is not a part of common multiplatform code.
