Just so everyone knows, Hulu is now subscription only! However, the website http://view.yahoo.com now features Hulu videos and is advertising supported. It's presentation and layout is all Yahoo but the servers seem to be all Hulu.
Yahoo may be using an older streaming method; I'm not sure. Running Debian Linux 8.5, I have to install HAL in order to watch it. It is not possible to watch Yahoo View from Linux even when using Google Chrome.

Something of a noob here regarding the Hulu plug-in. I am testing a new Kodi build, using the latest stable release and all the SlyGuy downloads. I have a Hulu+ subscription and created a menu shortcut for Hulu+ Live TV which works fine.
The issue I have is that playback stops after about a minute. Any help with settings or whatnot would be appreciated, and I found similar posts but no resolution.
I also have a question - is there a setting to default the playback quality so I can skip the pop-up window asking for playback quality?

There is a Hulu release thread for the slyguy addon that your question should be in https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=364953. An admin should be able to move it.
Answer the 2ns question, go into the addon settings playback and set the quality to best or a certain max bitrate.
For 1st issue, I'd need a full debug log please showing the error

Thanks for the quick reply! The setting change worked, and it seems the freezing might be channel-specific. For example, A&E played fine but then it froze about a minute after switching to Bravo. If I know what to look for I can scan the log for that channel change and send that snippet.

Quick update - other channels are freezing too, A&E played fine for about half an hour then froze up.
I'm on Nexus 20.0, Win7.

sounds just like the issue with Inputstream Adaptive + adverts in a stream.
Out of my control sorry
try turning off refresh rate changing if enabled
or, it maybe be fixed with https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.adaptive/pull/1175

Today Hulu+ Live TV played fine, so could the issue have been a dreaded 'glitch' or possibly due to bandwidth (internet speed)?

Update: Local channels play fine, 'cable' channels are hit or miss in terms of freezing after anywhere from 30 seconds to ~3 minutes.
I would appreciate any feedback on this.
