Thanks for your insights; I appreciate your help! I've tried disabling 'show parent folder items,' but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. I believe the purpose of this feature is to hide the '..' tile, allowing users to go up one level.
Apologies if my explanation is unclear. Let me try again with the image below. In short:

If I add a widget to the home menu with 'directory structure' and navigated to any 'deep/next page,' the main menu becomes ineffective. It's still visible and approachable, but I can't use it unless I return to the directory view and click 'back' until I'm back on the first page of the add-on, then can I use the Home menu again.

While I understand this, it's more challenging for my family to grasp, so I wanted to highlight it. Perhaps I'm overlooking a setting; I'm eager to learn more. Thanks again for your time.

Yep, should have something incoming soon. Either this update or one after.

This is because you are no longer on the home screen. Classic mode only changes widget groups on home screen via the side menu.

With classic mode, I'd suggest using "Skin Settings > Menus > Menu Style > Library" instead of "Expand" like you are currently. The "Library" menu mode only shows all the icons on the home screen, but collapses them behind a Menu button once you open a library window.

That mode was made specifically for this exact scenario -- it's what I use in my own loungeroom setup so other people in my house don't get confused by when the side menu will switch groups and when it won't.

It's so much easier to test on every device and see which setup is working well without deleting or adding widgets, categories or submenu again when switching layout.

But is this normal? Does the Submenu widget not work in categories with global widgets?

Yes normal. No it doesn't work.

Each category has its own widget group. Each widget group has a guid (group unique id) that determines if it should be visible.

The "global" group is a special "extra" category. Setting to global simply swaps a category's own guid with that extra one. So you no longer see the category group and instead see the extra group. The extra category has no submenu, so it also has no submenu widgets (and even if it did, they'd be completely different).

BTW beautiful skin.

Not at the moment but I have been considering it.

Not quite the same, but if you press up instead of down, you can access the filter box. Typing into the box will filter the current view by title (or can click the box to access on-screen keyboard).

Skin Settings > Behaviour > Seekbar displays title details while seeking

Large landscape style is called "Board"

Hi @CouchGuy
Looks great!
What did you do @ 0.48 so that when you highlight a show, the episodes show below?
Wondering if it would be possible to show: Show/Series'/Episodes in a similar way?
Just when you think you've got everything as you want it, you see something like this, that makes you realise you haven't!

I enable submenu as a widget in the hub. To automatically show number of seasons below when a series is highlighted you need to add "Stacked Folder" where you can find in experimental category. Then add another "Stacked Folder" widget below to for episodes.
Yes, it is possible. Same procedure, just add two "Stacked Folder" below your TV Show widget.
Could you explain this a little better or with images? I find it very interesting and I have looked but in experimental it comes up empty, there is nothing to select. Thank you

How does it work on cell phones?

Everything he does is priceless and with the quality he does, for me @jurialmunkey he is the best without a doubt. I don't have enough thanks to give him all he deserves.

RE: Arctic Fuse - htpc-mac - 2024-01-31

Is there anyway to get this full info window to appear WHILE playing a video? Closest I can get to is hitting M to bring up the extended UI and then I (info). You get a mini version that shows the cast but only option is to do a Wikipedia lookup on them.

Sorry. English is not my first language and this is my best. 😅
I don't know if there's a difference in Artic Fuse Customization Screen if you select different layout in setup wizard but I'm using "Categories". For submenu widget, just click on submenu you have then the options menu will show up... select options...

The 'Stacked Folder' widget behave differently now after the last update? Before, I used it to automatically show the TV shows seasons# & episodes. But now it's showing this context menu.
EDIT: Sorry. My bad. I accidentally change the default select action to browse in TMDb Helper settings.

Also. Is it possible to add this context where we can disable it in TMDb Helper settings?
- Select player
- Choose default player
- Add/Remove as Custom Node

RE: Arctic Fuse - Bindou - 2024-01-31

Hi,
I continue to explore the possibilities of this Skin, the work of which is remarkable, as always with Jurial. However, for me, its first limitation is ergonomic. I don't understand the choice to force the user to tap on the category icons, rather than just hover over them, like in Horizon 2. Is there a way around this in the options?

HS: Do any of you use this skin with Kodi 21 ; is it stable on your side? For my part, Widgets sometimes have difficulty loading, as well as some crashes.

Thanks
