Hi @CouchGuy
Looks great!
What did you do @ 0.48 so that when you highlight a show, the episodes show below?
Wondering if it would be possible to show: Show/Series'/Episodes in a similar way?
Just when you think you've got everything as you want it, you see something like this, that makes you realise you haven't!

I enable submenu as a widget in the hub. To automatically show number of seasons below when a series is highlighted you need to add "Stacked Folder" where you can find in experimental category. Then add another "Stacked Folder" widget below to for episodes.
Yes, it is possible. Same procedure, just add two "Stacked Folder" below your TV Show widget.

Thanks @CouchGuy Working like a dream....

Thank you!

Does your skin play local TV trailers stored in the TV show folder. If so how did you achieve this.

Looks great! I like this approach to stacking to view season/episodes but then still having recommendations on top. I knew stacking to view seasons/episodes would work but I've never really thought of then adding recommendations on top of that, so its nice to see that it works so well despite it not being tested much by myself!

For library you should be able to add a local trailer file alongside the main movie file:
https://kodi.wiki/view/Trailers#Scan_Local
l
EDIT: Sorry noticed you said TV, not movies. Can also find that info on that wiki page:
https://kodi.wiki/view/Trailers#TV_Shows

Once you scan a local trailer to the library, it should simply be a matter of clicking the trailers button in info dialog to play the file (trailer button plays whatever is in ListItem.Trailer if available but will then fallback to using TMDbHelper to lookup a trailer if there isn't local info defined)
Showing local trailers/extras in the list attached to the button is currently not possible but maybe possible in the future once all the new versions/extras features for Omega settle a bit.

Thanks for the information. I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong with TV trailers. I have followed Kodi wiki for TV trailers and I've added the location inside the xml with the correct naming convention but no luck

For some reason I can only get it to pull online.

I just seen you wrote must be scanned into Kodi. I'll give this a try. I take it that the trailer doesn't scan in when adding a TV show

It was my mistake I didn't put a space TV Series(P) vs TV Series (P) between Series(P).

<trailer>P:\TV Series (P)\American Horror Story (2011)\tvshow-trailer.mp4</trailer>

Is it possible to change the basic white weather icons to the HD Animated icons? Thanks
Would you be able to share a setup of your build? It looks so good and what ive been trying to do - but I just cant get it

Thanks!

Do you know if having too many nodes in library node editor can affect performance? or if there is a limit? currently I have filtered with discover from tmdbhelper recently added, trends, genres, years, studios, so that it only shows content with streaming platforms that I use but I don't know if it affects performance in Kodi or if there is a creation limit in tmdbhelper or library node editor
The background seems to be missing on the wikipedia page. I replicated this from watiching a video, hitting the context menu to open info, then selected wiki.

I would love to, but I don't think that's the great idea. We can't learn how to set up Kodi if we just copy-paste the files needed.
Just don't rush; make a plan for what you want your setup to be like. Also, consider the device you have to ensure it is fast enough to handle it.

I tried some Kodi builds before, but for some reason, I didn't like it. I just don't understand why the word 'Movies' needs every letter to be in different colors. Plus, there are a lot of add-ons installed that I didn't really use. Like they say, the best build is your own build.

What is the exact part you're having a hard time with? I'll try my best to help.

I shouldn't think so. A node is just an XML file with some rules. I haven't tested the limits but I'd expect you need to get into having hundreds of nodes in a single parent node before it had any real effect. It's basically a a folder of smart playlists. To display the folder of playlists (the parent node), Kodi only needs to read the names of the playlists in the folder. You still need to click into each playlist to load its contents.

Have a look at how the standard library is constructed out of nodes in core here and I think it'll help demystify how it works:
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/master...rary/video

Also no limit on TMDbHelper discover paths. There is a limit on how many you can "save" into the history inside TMDbHelper but that doesn't affect being used as node/widget/shortcut because all the discover parameters are available directly in the path itself. Once you've added it as a node/widget/shortcut then it will work regardless of whether it was cleared from the history.
