Hi Folks,

I'm struggling with the PVR functions in XBMC.
Followed a guide and installed Mediaportal TV Server, the TV Server XBMC plugin, the XBMC addon for Mediaportal and the Margro V4 version of XBMC with PVR support.

I configured MediaPortal TVServer and the XBMC addon.

But I have no "TV" menu item in XMBC settings to switch it on.

I used to have the XBMC stable release running and to be sure I deinstalled that and reinstalled the Margro release.
But still, no TV settings.

Quite desperate ....
Any help appreciated so much.

I think your issue might be the XBMC build you're running. PVR functionality is now in the latest Frodo nightlies of XBMC so you no longer need a custom build - just grab the most recent nightly from here and install it, along with the addon. (You can get the latest compiled version of the XBMC addon from here.)

Also make sure you're using the default skin (Confluence); not all skins support PVR.

I have the setup you describe working with the nightly build from the 29th; try one and revert back if you still have issues...

Maybe I need to delete all my profile seetings, too.

Uninstalling with profiles did it.
