I made have updated a Christmas theme for metropolis. It now has icons that were missing due to updates to Kodi.

The files are at my github repository. See updated screenshots there.

This version contains new icons along with updated colors and fonts. To try the theme, unzip metropolis-christmas-theme.zip in Kodi's "addons/skin.metropolis" directory.

You will only get the theme fonts if you are using Kodi 20 or 21 (Nexus or Omega).

Click the "Download" button and store Christmas.xbt in addons/skin.metropolis/media

Thanks @sfontes for sharing. It looks really nice.

While I was downloading, I saw your extra-fanart branch and installed that as well. Hope you don't mind. Flicked through a few movies, tv shows and albums and it is working well. It also fixed some other view problems I reported a while ago.
Are you are taking requests? Add rotating fanart to the home screen for fanart in the library. The only option currently is to point to a folder that holds multi-fanart.

I don't take requests, but that is something I may work on.

I'm glad you liked the theme - do you know where I could find the other Christmas themes you mentioned?
I can make a pull request to Jingai's repository - would that be worth trying?

I noticed this post too late to make use of this theme last Christmas, but I am looking forward to displaying it this year. Thanks very much for sharing.

That was me.... I made that!!!!! Ill have to see if i can find the files! The only issue is, its a different build of the skin

Bumping this thread because I have updated the theme to fix missing icons (and because it's Christmastime Big Grin

). Also, Kodi now has the option to provide new fonts for a skin without having to edit any skin files, so the theme now uses "Christmasy" fonts. See post #1 to get the updated theme.
