Solved Adjust display refresh rate to match video causes overscan

hami5h: I kind of have the same problem. The overscan issues for was resolved by setting the TV to "just scan" as pictore mode instead of 16:9. I still have problems with the picture quality though.

Still no luck.

Here are two photos with the difference between the good quality and bad:

I believe that this is a problem with the linux setup.

Wohooo I got it. On the LG TV under Settings -> Picture I could set the Picture Mode to isf Expert and then it suddenly works!

Just got one isse left: I use tvheadend as backend pvr and the "Adjust display refresh rate to match video" on two channels first switch to 50hz (correct) but after 2sec it switches to 60hz and I git jittering... if I switch to any other channel than these two it works. The channels are SVT1 HD and SVT2 HD on DVB-S. But this might be an issue for another thread...
