Just bought a Pi2 but...

Ok, the reboot did it Smile Thank you
However this is not a solution as it's fine when using Kodi but if I want to watch DirecTV or a Bluray, the image is zoomed like 600% so I guess I'm SOL...
Now on to my new issue Sad
I'm finally at the stage where I might even start watching a movie, erm not so fast...
I'm using Milhouse's Jarvis version and all my MVC mkvs play in 2D. I ruled out the HDMI cable as I swapped it with the one from my 3D Bluray player.
Here's how the movies are named: Sanctum.MVC.3D.Bluray.mkv, The Lion King.MVC.3D.Bluray.mkv, etc...

The other issue is with any movie encoded in MVC (via MakeMKV). If I skip to the next chapter, the movie just sits there, at the first frame of the new chapter. I can go back to the beginning of the movie and it starts again but it won't start from another chapter.
I do not have this issue with regular MKVs.
Here's the MediaInfo from one of the movies, in case that helps:

I noticed that if I enable OMX then it's still frozen on the next chapter but it slllowly moves forward, like a frame every seconds.
Anything else I should provide?

A sample file would be useful. Can you try cutting the file down (e.g. with mmg from mkvtoolnix) and check if the problem still occurs.
Hopefully you will find a small (perhaps a few minutes) sample still has the same issue.
Upload (e.g. to dropbox to google drive) and I'll have a look.

popcornmix,
Here's the sample:
Edit: Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4DPDm...0x6d3FGSzg

Also, please tell me if the file plays in 3D for you as for me it only plays in 2D, as previously mentioned.

After a few more testings, I really have a lot of buffering problems. Everytime I skip chapter, it buffers then start the chapter. Sometimes though, it starts like a slide show moving extremely slowly.
Last night while testing a bunch of videos, after a while, everytime I tried to start a movie I would just get a black screen with a buffering window going 99%-100% back and forth but the video would never start...

I have wired ethernet and have none of the issues with my Windows HTPC.

To be honest, the Pi2 experience has been very frustrating to this point. It's like 1 step forward, 2 steps back...
I started with SMB shares and Isengard and had problems with that but with some help here I was able to make it work. Then I grabbed Jarvis beta to be able to use MVC and now my SMB problem was back so I switched to NFS. Then I was told (not here) to install OE on a USB stick rather than the MicroSD card for much faster performance. Since I've done that, I can no longer access the Pi2 via WinSCP as it tells me: The server rejected SFTP connection, but it listens for FTP connections.
SSH is enabled in Kodi so I don't know wtf is going on...

So basically, I have no 3D and a buffering mess.

Ok, I started fresh and installed Isengard. All the buffering issues are now gone.
I can skip chapters back and forth with zero issues, besides no 3D but I know Isengard doesn't support MVC
So it seems the problem was with 12.04.

Should I wait for the 1st RC for Jarvis and test again?
