Am i wrong or with kodi 18 was planned to replace xorg with another display server ?
No. Has nothing to do with kodi. We run on x11 and on mir.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Yes You are alright, was about libreelec
Hi,

curl 35 handshake error now on "Libreelec v7.90.010/32 on Odroid_C2" (Raybuntus builds of LibreELEC Alpha 10) too ...

But unfortunately plugin developer changed access to DAZN streams from https to http.

So we won't see complaints for the next time. But problem persists and I'm pretty sure it'll come back with other ssl sites.
Could anyone please tell me what the main difference is between kodi 17 and 18?
Suggest read first post.
basically these builds have commits for next version of Kodi
Hi there,
i have noticed some issues with the last builds (also build #1228) and pvr functionality (pvr.dvblink).
After a undefined time, when i want to stop the tv-stream with stop button on the remote, the picture freezes and only the power button will get kodi working again...
I dont know, if this is a kodi or pvr-addon specific problem?!
Heres the debug log until the picture freezes ---> http://sprunge.us/iKNa

This is just temporary and will be removed with the next release again.

@Milhouse

You can reproduce it with a simple request to the widevine url:

Code:
import requests
r = requests.get('https://widevine.entitlement.theplatform.eu/wv/web/ModularDrm/getWidevineLicense')

Thank you JinJin!
Just wanted to say with the word "unfortunately": If users has no problems, they report no problems and DAZN seems to be the only popular plugin where the issue occur.
So for the most everything seems to be fine while it isn't.

The request to your given URL works OK with comandline cURL but fails with Python, is it?
@JinJin & @cabal2k - thanks. I can reproduce it here, and confirm it starts with build #1120 (affecting both RPi and Generic), but not entirely sure what the cause is yet - we're looking into it.

Edit: And yes, curl and Python at the command line are not affected, only python/curl within Kodi has this issue. curl and Python at the command line both return a 422 response.

Any advice on compiling a build anywhere? Fancy trying to rebuild emulators for a laugh today as kids fancy a bash on some NES classics and I won't jeopardise my DBs ;-)
14 years using XBMP, XBMC and Kodi! :)
