Hi,
First test :
My system : OpenELEC_Gotham-Generic.x86_64-devel-20130906081041-r15520
Everything in passthrough except E-ac3 (thank you !!!)
Streamsilence enable
No sound in xbmc Gui
AVR OFF
Log with LiveTV : http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=55834
Nothing to say, maybe the sound is coming late after image, about 1/2 seconde .
Second test :
My system : OpenELEC_Gotham-Generic.x86_64-devel-20130906081041-r15520
Everything in passthrough except E-ac3
Streamsilence enable
No sound in xbmc Gui
AVR ON
Log for Movies : http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=55839
Fisrt Movie : DTS 5.1 -> ok
Second movie : DTS-HD -> ok
Third movie : AC3 5.1 -> ok
Fourth movie : Flac 5.1 -> ok AVR indicates PCM 5.1
Fifth movie : AAC 2.0 -> AVR indicates no flux... will investigate (see below)
Sixth movie : AC3 2.0 -> ok AVR indicates DD 2.0
Seventh movie : MP3 2.0 -> ok AVR indicates PCM 2.0 (see below)
Edit :
movie with OGG 2.0 -> ok AVR indicates PCM 2.0
Something i noticed : with MP3 and AAC, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, with the same movie. Will try to reproduce and to provide a good log. When it works it decodes it as a PCM flux, even if i had checked AAC passthrough.
