I'm looking at both in the wiki and trying to see a difference.
DVDExtras is frozen as it stands (Some-one else may fix issues and bugs, but in my eyes it's frozen and will not be changed by me).
VideoExtras is where the new features and bug fixes will be added (Some have already gone in) - it is this version that I hope will go into the official repo at some point.

Wow! I didn't realise anyone was including Video Extras already in their skins! (Scary considering I have just commited a change that alters the skin hooks!)
