Assuming you have a powerfull enough machine to decode video and audio at the same time, it may be true if kodi's audio decoding was good

All those thread are about music files but I doubt that decoding of audio in video file is really better
I just think that peoples that use Kodi only for video does not spot the issue because most of them does not care of high quality audio...
But I'm just a user and you are a dev so I am probably wrong
