I still don't see how the Samba server change (which is an OS component, not used by Kodi) should affect the behaviour of the smb client used by Kodi. Possibly our new Samba server config is confusing/conflicting with the Samba server in your NAS, but if 7.90.007 also has a problem then this pre-dates the config change...

Have you both tried rebooting your Samba servers?

Well something is off obv., if 1017 just works with no tweeking and latest doesn't.
I will load latest and reboot NAS, but I'm sure i've tried this along the way.. sec.

Also I do not have the samba server turned on in libreelec settings, they are all left as default.
