Still have a blank space where the rating should be.
Ignore the above, and I'll save you some time and few other naming conventions to try.
Keep only 7 icons in your MPAA folder (since we are trying 7 different naming conventions and are going to try them all at the same time) and make sure they are different pictures
so have a U,PG,12, 12a,15,18 andan r18 in the folder.
Now rename each of the 7 icons giving each one, one of the following file names exactly as I have written.
Rated UK-15.png
Rated UK15.png
Rated UK 15.png
UK-15.png
UK15.png
UK 15.png
15.png
Now, reload skin or restart kodi and then go to any of your movies with a certificate of 15 and see if any of the icons show up. If one shows up, check with naming convention you used for that icon and then rename all your icons with the appropriate naming convention.
Thanks for trying, though.
New update:
Old version:
Ok but did you actually try a 15 cert film since the file names I have you would only show up on a 15 cert
Instead of using a 15 certificate, I changed all 7 UK icons/png in mpaa folder to 12 rating using your nomenclature as the first movie showing (Flash Gordon) is a 12 and I also tried several 12 rated movies ;-)
Unfortunately didn't work. :-(
I checked a movie nfo created by Ember and saw that the rating was: UK:12 in <mpaa> & <certification> code.
This worked om earlier mod version, so I tried renaming some of the icon/png in mpaa folder to UK:12, Rating UK:12 etc as you suggested above (swapping the hyphen for colon).
Still did not work.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated :-)
