I don't know how you expect
us to know how noticeable frame rate conversion will be to
you. It's entirely subjective. To me, converting 23.976Hz to 59.94Hz looks terrible; but some people can't see anything wrong. Converting 25 or 50Hz to 59.94 looks even worse to my eyes.
Bear in mind that you can use the Kodi Netflix Add-On instead of the Netflix app and that will enable native frame-rate playback (albeit with an arguably less nice UI).
What is a problem, however, is that some content on Netflix is 24.000Hz rather than 23.976Hz, and the Fire Stick can't play that correctly by any mechanism - with the output set to 23.976Hz, playing 24.000Hz material, it skips a frame about once every 40 seconds. Very few media players can handle 24.000Hz Netflix material correctly.

I noticed recently my latest Kodi 18.9 stoped auto switching framerate? Tried restarting but didnt help?
Anyone else noticed. Worked perfectly for years..
No whitelist, auto resolution and match framerate set to ON.

Yet another amazon firmware update?

Not a huge deal but is everyone's Dolby Digital movies being converted to DD+?
Still no DTS pass through but converting to 5.1 PCM isn't bad, but would prefer a pass through option like before.
Lossless DTS MA and Dolby TrueHD converting to PCM is good.
HDR to SDR on 4K ripped movies look outstanding! The update to PlexKodiConnect that supports Matrix is working well.

No they aren't :-).
If you rely on passthrough (as the FireTV 4K has broken it), choose Speakers: 2.0 (no joke) and enable AC3 and enable Dolby Transcoding while setting the Audio Device to Audiotrack (RAW).
Amazon did not send a timeline until the consider fixing what they nicely broke several months back.

I asked this in the Cube thread but if I don't need passthrough, do I get 5.1 LPCM when I just set the Cube/Stick's audio to "best available" and leave everything default in Kodi except change to 5.1 channels?

Not sure why you ask a Cube question in the 4K section ... just to confuse others?
Cube and FireTV are sadly different, different Firmware, different stuff broken. Keep those two devices separate or confusion will even increase.
