the platform limitations are imposed by sky/peacock

they are being very particular

Isn't the Netflix addon using DRM? I can see that Nexflix uses inputstream adaptive with no hardware decoding on h264 on my Libreelec box (which normally will hardware decode h264). https://github.com/CastagnaIT/repository.castagnait

DRM isn't the problem.
Verified Media Path is.
That is why Peacock wont work in Firefox / Chrome on Linux.
If it doesn't work there, don't expect it to work in Kodi

I wrote an android application which allows you to login in the peacock (or skyshowtime) website and saves the cookies in a file which you can use to login in the addon.
Anyone is willing to test it?

That's great thanks for all your work on this. I haven't had any issues using the last tool you created to run within windows but I'm sure this will be helpful for someone.
One thing I noticed this weeiend within the soccer > premier league section some of the highlight videos don't play.

These are highlights from the previous week for example so I don't think it's that.
If you go to Sports > Soccer > Extended Highlights > Select any of these videos and I see the following error: No playback URL
I don't think it's specific just to these clips anyway but that's an example if you guys wanted to take a look.
Thanks, Sam.

@samjee I think the problem with those clips is fixed in version 0.2.5.
It turns out those videos are not DRM protected and they can even be played on PCs.

So now "Addon for Peacock and Skyshowtime" won't play Dolby Atmos tracks? I noticed that it seems that all the content in 5.1ch is Dolby Digital Plus with 192kbps bitrate.
Some of the "sources (WEB-DL)" have Dolby Digital Plus 640Kbps and Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos 768Kbps.
But I think this may be a mix of audio from other streaming platforms.
